Student Worker
Discovery Club is hiring student workers! If you are a high school student interested in gaining childcare experience, please apply to the Discovery Club Student Worker application. Student workers must be at least 16 years of age. Discovery Club hires consistent Monday through Friday shifts of 1:30-5:30 PM and 3:30-5:30 PM. Consistent positions are dependent upon availability. For those unavailable to commit to work Monday through Friday, substitute positions are available. Please reach out to alex.hennessey@spps.org with any questions.

Child Care Worker
Child Care Workers build relationships with students, lead children through the plan of the day, give support to children with special needs, and are responsible for guiding positive behavior with students.

- Sub positions are available for those with varied schedules
Discovery Club is looking to hire Child Care Workers. Applicants applying for a consistent position must be able to commit to a Monday through Friday schedule for both the school year and summer. Group Leaders
Group Leaders are responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for Pre K-5th grade students, building relationships with students, guiding behavior, and giving work direction to part-time staff. This is an Educational Assistant position, 32.5 hour/week, split shift before and after school, that is contracted and benefits eligible.

Site Supervisor
Site Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day coordination and operation of a Discovery Club site. Provides supervision and coaching to educational and teaching assistants and hourly staff working at Discovery Club. Work effectively with and develop relationships with children and families in program. 40 hour/week, that is contracted and benefits eligible.
All Site Supervisor positions are full at this time.
