Welcome to Flipside
Flipside combines learning and fun during out-of-school times!
Flipside offers enrichment classes in art, science, technology, health, fitness and culture. The program is designed to empower youth, nurture and amplify their voices, and create a safe space where they can experience belonging at school, deepen relationships with school staff, thrive academically, develop lifelong skills, and shape their future with confidence. Flipside has a full-time program coordinator at each school to provide student & family support, program planning, oversite, evaluation and improvements throughout the year.

Important Information for Families
Attendance: Summer camp enrollment is very limited. This means that Attendance is an important. Consistent attendance also ensures participants will benefit from participation, achieving the goals set for the camp.
Meals: All in-person summer session students receive a free breakfast and lunch at school.
Transportation: Districtwide transportation is available for eligible students who attend in-person programming. See SPPS Transportation Guidelines. Families will receive an email with transportation information. The email lists details about where and when to get on and off the bus. Please arrive at the bus stop five minutes before the bus is scheduled to pick up your child. Track the status of your child’s bus on our school’s website or the Bus Status app.
Student Rights & Responsibilities: District sponsored Summer Camps will follow the same Student Rights and Responsibilities as we have during the school year. Read the Rights & Responsibilities Handbook.

The State of Minnesota provides funding to the Saint Paul Public Schools Flipside After School Program to provide high quality academic support and learning activities for middle school students. Flipside must collect participant information and track their participation as part of funding expectations.
