CDF Freedom Schools Summer Program

Saint Paul Public Schools CDF Freedom School is a free, research-based educational and cultural six-week summer program for scholars currently in grades K-8. The program integrates reading, conflict resolution, and social action in an activity-based curriculum to promote social, cultural, and historical awareness. Participation in Freedom Schools provides enriching group activities, including field trips, culturally affirming materials, a well-trained and caring staff, and parent involvement, with an emphasis on literacy, math, leadership development, and college and career readiness.

Saint Paul Public Schools’ Freedom School programs are provided in collaboration with many school district, individual, public, and private partners.
